David deHoll has recently joined the medical staff of Pardee Hospital and is accepting new patients at Pardee Urological Associates in Hendersonville. DeHoll received his medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine and completed a residency at the University of Virginia Health Sciences Center where he served as chief resident in urology. He is board certified in urology. His specialties include incontinence minimally invasive therapy and erectile dysfunction. Bryant joins Park Ridge Medical Dr. James Bryant a board-certified family practitioner has joined Park Ridge Medical Associates. Bryant attended medical school at the University of Illinois College of Medicine.

Warner Chilcott which specialises in women’s healthcare dermatology and urology has an annual revenue of roughly $1bn (€698m) and is registered for tax purposes in Ardee Co Louth. Under the terms of the agreement Warner Chilcott will acquire P&G’s portfolio of branded pharmaceutical products including Asacol tablets ulcerative colitis Actonel for osteoporosis and the co-promotion rights to Enablex for the treatment of overactive bladder.

When I called TRICARE to ask why I couldn’t be seen by a urologist in Colorado Springs they said “no urologist in Colorado Springs takes TRICARE Prime” (supposedly the gold standard of TRICARE programs). When I asked “So what does that tell you about TRICARE?” I got a blank response. I stewed about this for a couple of weeks until another military retiree pointed out to me that Evans Army Community Hospital at Fort Carson has a urology department.

However increased life expectancy and the development of less invasive treatments have led to an interest in characterizing prostate cancer in elderly men. We determined how prostate cancer pathological characteristics differ in men older vs younger than 70 years. We studied differences in prostate cancer pathological characteristics in autopsied glands from men 70 years old or older and compared findings to those in men younger than 70 years.
