Former Chair of East Lindsey District Council Robert Palmer chose the Urology Department at County Hospital Louth as his charity for the year after he was treated as a patient there. During his term he and his wife Maureen managed to raise £2000 for the department which will be handed over to staff in a ceremony at 6. 30pm on Thursday May 14. The money was raised during various events including dinners and raffles.
